Hello Salvagers,

We hope you've had a fantastic holiday season and new year and you're ready for a great 2025.

Leyline Press at Gen Con 2025!

We're excited to announce that Leyline Press will be at GenCon 2025! (July 31–August 3, 2025 ) This is a dream come true for us, and we're incredibly proud to have been selected to not only exhibit at the biggest tabletop RPG convention in the world, but as part of GenCon's "Entrepreneurs Avenue program" which supports innovative companies making their debut at the show. We'll have our entire catalogue of Salvage Union at the convention, as well as our range of other indie RPG's and zines. 

If you're attending the convention we'd love to see you there, please do come and say hi! We'll update closer to the date on our booth number and other details

Pledge Manager

We're still in the process of setting up pledge manager, so don't worry if you haven't received anything yet. We're waiting to ensure postage costs will be as accurate as possible but hope to get the pledge manager out within the first quarter of 2025, alongside pre-orders for anyone that missed the campaign.

Project Progress

We're still on track for the planned November 2025 fulfilment of the Salvage Union. We're currently finalising the remaining copy, primarily of the Reclamation of the Wastes campaign, and getting it ready for editing and layout. We're also in the process of putting all completed text and art into layout and finalising production with our manufacturer.

Hello Salvagers!

A short update to let you know our progress on the project.

We're in the process of setting up Pledgemanager which we're aiming to send out by the end of the month, we'll update when that goes out with additional details.

If you pledged for the Salvage Union Core Book, Rainmaker, False Flag, or We Were Here First! You should have received PDF's of this.  If you haven't please get in touch.

We're making good progress on finishing the remainder of the copy for the Reclamation of the Wastes Campaign, and getting everything ready for layout and production.

Hello Salvagers!

Thanks to all of your support the Salvage Union Starter Set fully funded, raising £112,070, that's £100,000 more than our initial goal! Thankyou all so much for the incredible support during this campaign.

We've got some important info for you below in regards to next steps in the campaign.


BackerKit Payments

Currently payments for the campaign are being processed via BackerKit, most of you should have already been charged. If your payment has failed please update your details and we will try to take payment again.

Salvage Union Core Book & Adventure Modules DriveThruRPG PDFs

If you backed the Salvage Union Core Book or Adventure Modules, and your payments have gone through, you should have already received the PDF's via DriveThruRPG. If you haven't received anything please get in touch and we'll help.

Once backer surveys are complete will be further distributing via BackerKit and Itch.io. 


Pledge manager and shipping

We are in the process of setting up the pledge manager and backer surveys. We'll be sending these out and collecting payment for shipping closer to our planned fulfilment date of November 2025. We are hoping to keep these shipping amounts close to our estimates but they may fluctuate.


Core Book + Adventures Split Shipping

If you wish to split ship so you can get your Salvage Union Core Book + Adventure Modules early, there'll be an option via the BackerKit Surveys. This will incur an additional postage charge.


US Import Tariffs

The Trump administration is potentially going to impose tariffs on imports from 20-60%. We don't have specific information as of yet on the exact details, however backers in the US may have to pay additional postage charges beyond our estimates to cover these costs which will be included in your BackerKit surveys.  We'll of course do everything we can to keep shipping costs as low as possible. US shipping will still be customs friendly and not incur any additional custom charges beyond what is paid in shipping. We'll keep you updated in this regard as the situation develops.


EU Shipping & Customs

EU Backers will receive their pledges customs friendly, you wont need to do anything beyond paying shipping as normal with any additional costs included in the shipping fee.


Retail Backers

If you've pledged at retail we'll be in touch, you'll receive retail exclusive offers to the campaign via your BackerKit Survey when it goes live. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Fulfilment 

We're aiming to fully fulfil the campaign by November 2025, meaning that's when you should expect your Salvage Union Starter Set + Asset Pack pledges. The bulk of the work is in finishing the Reclamation of the Wastes campaign, as well as layout, production and distribution of the Starter Set contents. We'll endeavour to update you monthly on campaign progress with BackerKit Updates.

£100k Stretch Goal Unlocked - prepare to enter Thatcher's Mech Base!

Hello Salvagers,

Thanks to your stunning support in the last hours of the campaign we've unlocked Thatcher's Mech Base, a new pamphlet adventure which will be added to the Starter Set Asset Pack.



Your salvaging crew has detected an ancient Thatcher Steel Mech base deep within an old mine and ripe for salvage. Unbeknownst to you and your crew, the Iron Lady and her android minions slumber deep within, ready to be awoken and wreak havoc once more upon the living.

It's the final day of the campaign and we wanted to thank you all for your incredible support throughout, we're delighted to have hit the £100k stretch goal as it's a really fun adventure we think you're all going to love. We're of course also incredibly happy we funded so quickly and can't wait to get the Salvage Union Starter Set as well as all the extras in your hands.

We'll be further updating after the campaign concludes with more information about our next steps including our fulfilment timeline, and pledgemanager details.

There's now under 48 hours to back the Salvage Union Starter Set. Thanks to all your incredible support it's been a fantastic campaign, with multiple new stretch goals unlocked including new Mechs, sticker packs and extra art for the game.
